Thanksgiving Feast

 Everyone brought food to add to our feast

 Our Pilgrims and Native Americans

Making Butter 

Each child "milked" a glove to see what it would be like to milk a cow!

Then we poured some whipping cream in a jar and started shaking it to make butter.

It started to get thicker.... so we shook it some more. 

Everyone had some butter on a cracker, and they loved it! 

While we shook the butter each child got to try an old fashioned butter churn, 

to see what it would have been like to be a pilgrim.
